Diary Entry

Monday 22nd September 2014

Day One.

Today we woke up to the news camp was postponed, But we still had to pack our bags a bring them to school. I walked to school struggling to carry both my bags. Then our class was called in to discuss our plans for the day. We had to think about what we could do instead, we scanned the internet for ideas and came up with a few options. We then had to call the companies to book what we could do and if we could get a discount, we groveled and begged and everyone got a discount. We had morning tea, packed our bags into the cars while Sharon finished our timetable.

We got in the cars to Blenheim the car ride was long but but we got to Pelourus  Bridge quickly, it felt like the ride was shorter than it really was we got to the bridge and stretched our legs then we had lunch and had a group photo and continued to Blenheim. We saw the wineries and knew we were almost there. we arrived at the museum and had our tour. Me, Sophie and Karen had a private tour and had to get a hurry up by the rest of the class.

Then we left to the cinema to watch the movie Step up 5, but we still had a while left before the movie started so we played seaweed in one of the car parks. Then we went back to the cinema to watch the movie everyone brought sweets, a drink and some popcorn. It was a really good movie and even starred a New Zealander. When the movie had finished we drove to Picton and got settled in at The Top Ten Holiday Park. I was in a cabin with Sophie and Sylvie. Everyone had a good day even though our plans had changed.
